Soul Cracker retains dedicated rehearsal space in east-end Ottawa...  There is much rejoicing.  
Soul Cracker encounters minor set-back when Jeff Coombe (guitar) dislocates shoulder in
hockey game mishap.  The rejoicing is short-lived.

October 18th, 2004
Rachelle Casseus joins group on vocals.

January 24th, 2005
Ken Dawson joins group on trombone.

February 7th, 2005
Dion Turnquest joins group on tenor sax.

April 16th, 2005
Soul Cracker plays 1st public performance - Mavericks Bar, Ottawa

May 1st, 2005
Dion Turnquest must return home to the Bahamas.  Mike Purse joins group on tenor sax.

June, 2005
In an unprecedented display of misfortune, Jeff Coombe re-dislocates shoulder in boating
mishap.

June 24th, 2005
Soul Cracker performs at The Roxy, Ottawa, to a sold-out crowd.

August 17th, 2005
Soul Cracker performs for City of Nepean's summer arts festival at Andrew Hayden Park.

August 27th, 2005
Soul Cracker returns to Mavericks Bar for final show of the summer.  Ken Dawson leaves for
Ireland for 6 month work obligation.

October, 2005
Paul Christian joins group on trombone.

November, 2005
David Devisscher joins group on tenor sax.

February 11th, 2006
First gig with all new horn section.  There is much rejoicing...  Paul Christian relocates and is
forced to leave the band.  The rejoicing is short-lived.

March, 2006
Kevin Hassell joins group on trombone.  Kelly Craig joins group on trumpet.

March 15th, 2006
First gig with all new horn section.  Soul Cracker plays Hooley's grand opening...  There is much
rejoicing.  Jeff Coombe must take leave of absence, due to post traumatic multiple
shoulder-dislocation disorder.  The rejoicing is short-lived.

March 17th, 2006
Soul Cracker returns to Hooley's to play St. Patrick's Day celebration.  Super-Fly axe man,
Oliver Franks, flies in from Montreal to fill in on guitar.

March 22nd, 2006
First show at The Rainbow Bistro, Ottawa.

April, 2006
While in recovery, Jeff is sent on world wind promotional tour to plug the band.  Tour stops of
interest include, Morocco and Manitoba.

April 27th, 2006
Dave Milliken fills in on guitar for 2nd Rainbow Bistro show.

June 9th, 2006
Soul Cracker plays the Cancer Society's Relay for Life despite cold, continuous rain...  I mean
cold...  And continuous...  Like, it rained all night.  Did I mention it was cold?  Still, it was a
great time and for a great cause.

August 18th, 2006
Jeff Coombe plays final show as Soul Cracker's full time guitar player.  Although the band
misses him, they are now able to get cheaper medical insurance.

September, 2006
Soul Cracker picks up new guitar player, Dave Milliken in contract negotiations.  Dave signs on
for $25 and 1 foot bath, slightly used.

October 28th, 2006
Members of Soul Cracker join fellow bands Clown Faced Cowboys, Muffler and Will Norcross
for Beth Palmer Memorial Show at Kelly's Welcome in Manotick, On.  In honor of our dear
friend.

December 1st, 2006
Christmas party show for Northern Cables Inc. in Brockville, On.  Thanks to Andy Z. and all the
staff and management for inviting us to entertain.

December 15th, 2006
Christmas party show for RCMP Ottawa.  Thanks to The Clarke Brothers for doing sound and
making this a very Merry Christmas.

January - May, 2007
In yet another display of compounded misfortune, Soul Cracker must take a self-imposed
sabbatical due to member commitments with other projects, member relocations and member
dismemberment.

June, 2007
All other obligations out of the way, Soul Cracker reunites to begin rehearsals once again.

August 7, 2007
Soul Cracker celebrates third anniversary.  The rejoicing is short-lived as long time members
Brent Hultquist and Rachelle Casseus leave the band for other projects.

September 29, 2007
With the remaining members, Soul Cracker performs a wedding reception...  But the show is
bitter sweet...  The bad luck and tension have taken their toll and drummer Gerard Tweedie
decides to leave the group.

October 1, 2007
Due to contract complications and the fact that the foot bath never worked properly from the
get-go, recently acquired guitar player Dave Milliken leaves Soul Cracker.

October 15, 2007
In a hostile takeover, co-founding members Brady Moffatt and Mike Thompson are forced out
of the band...  Claire MacArthur is now the sole member of Soul Cracker.

October 21, 2007
After three years and countless obstacles, Soul Cracker decides to call it quits for good.  Upon
hearing the news former guitar player, Jeff Coombe dislocated his shoulder...  again.
